Sounds like you need to move your fastprop. It replaces the blades when the prop is moving.

A bit more detailed:

You know how you can make the fastprop visible ? In OPS just uncheck "use base model" under view-->preferences and reload. Now you see alot of "new" parts. Select the fastprop in the names tab. You should see that its position is completely wrong, but the position of it does not matter at all(Cause its only a 3d-model for replacement, wich uses all the properties of the normal prop, except the origin or pivot point of the 3d-model itself)!!! So the only thing you should take care about is that the fastprop-model has the same origin as the normal prop-model - so it is centered at the same point and then it will look ok.

Just try it out !
