Sounds like you need to create the max\scripts directory and put export_obj.ms in there.

Run Windows Explorer. Find the directory where you installed OPS (wherever you extracted it to). Click on that directory and you will see the directory's contents. Right-click in the empty space in the pane on the right-hand side. Go to New... and click on Folder. Type in the name of the new folder, "max". Double-click on the new folder and repeat the process, naming the new folder "scripts". Now you can either extract the file from the zip into max\scripts or you can "drag and drop" the file into the folder with the mouse.

An even easier way would be to open up the zip file, click on export_obj.ms, and click the extract button. In the "Extract to..." box type the name of the directory where OPS is at with the \max\scripts appended to the end. It should look like "C:\Program Files\OPStudio\max\scripts" depending on where you extracted OPS.

Hope this helps.

Actually that file is a 3D Studio MAX Script that exports matrix info from MAX that OPS can read.

If you had MAX you would probably know what max/script meant in terms of a directory, if you don't then this file isn't required.

Perhaps I'll clear that up in the next readme

BTW, You don't need MAX to run OPS. The file is just for people who have MAX, so ignore it.
