Modelling trim wheels

Tailslide Pilot	posted 05-30- 11:01 AM Hi, I'm updating my Yak cockpit and I'd really like to add trim wheels to each side of the plane but it looks like they will be a pain to model and texture in a FPS friendly manner. Do any of the existing planes have a good example of this? Can I "borrow" one from another plane? If not just looking at how it was done would be a great help. TS ------------------ Patch It! Tailslide Pilot	posted 05-30- 12:20 PM I don't want to make them move... if they moved I'd have to model the whole wheel in 3d which would suck up tons of polys. There should be a way to texture a flat disk with holes cut out of it to look like a 3d trim wheel.. TS IP: Logged
