hi iam new to this stuff and i want also build my own planes could anyone tell me wat i need to build planes by myself
and are there tutorials for it i would be very thankful iff anyone could help me

Welcome !

Yeah ! Sv's tuts are the best to start with ! You might also need the Openplane Specification Doc and some other helpfull material. Of course you'll need OPS, a good modeller PRG (3D MAX, AC3D) and maybe alot of other stuff.

The first thing I would do is RESEARCH ! Try to find out anything about the plane you want to build - Specs, Drawings, Scale Plans, Photos, Inside Views, Sounds etc. etc.
Other tip from me is to start with a simple plane. Simple means the geometrie/Structure of the plane should not be too complicate (How many engines, wings, crew members, gears etc etc).
I have some sides of a tutorial nearly half finished , it covers only modelling so far. Might be interesting for you ? Just mail me back if you need such unfinished stuff.
