Hi,
New to SDOE and have installed the beta patch...build 73. It can't get the engine sound to work at all. It starts..and then it cuts out. I can only hear it just after the engine starts or just after shutting it down. This happens if I use the apps.exe file to start SDOE. But if I use the original exe file it works fine. However if I do this I have no benefits of having a patch.

My system is:

AMDk62-500
v3-3000
SBLive Value

I have all of the latest drivers recently installed and am using DX7a. I've got lots of sims for both racing and flying and they all work fine.

P.S. I tried to download the previous beta patch version. But the link didn't work.

The build 73 beta patch is very beta and only for testing of changes to RC simulator which affect SDOE, build 65 is the best one to use at present and should still be available for download at same site as you got build 73. The lack of an enginerun sound is a known bug with build 73.

However I did try to download the previous version of the patch to no avial. The link isn't working. I think its the previous patch. The link is right under the build73 link.

Thanx Michael,

I did report it there also. How can I get the previous version of the patch? (build 65) That is the one Commando says is being used now.
