I've been playing around with OL and it is GREAT! I ran my yak through it and it removed the unused object names that opstudio generated. Very slick! I'm in the process of removing unused texture references (how about automating this?) but I ran into a file olc and smd can't handle.. here it is: http://firelight.dynip.com/_webposts/canopy.sm TS ------------------ Patch It! Tailslide, the canopy.sm file is bad, it doesn't have cement in the material table. Looks like another victim of one of those early versions of OPS. Seems the FS:SDOE runtime code isn't that fussy about the material table names. It might be possible to make SMD a bit smarter so it can attempt to repair these kinds of problems. I guess OLC could use some more error checking too so it warns about problems in .OL files. Hippie. IP: Logged |

Tailslide, I've put up ol-6.zip which might work better on canopy.sm.The test I was using to detect those busted multigen creator convertor generated .sm files also detected having anything other than "c" (ement) as the first name in the namelist as a buggy multigen file. Hopefully it still caters for multigen case OK. Hippie. IP: Logged |
