I've been trying to correct some part rotation problems in my ol_import/asc_import
plugins for AC3D for ages.
(and it has been driving me insane)

In .sm files I import some parts seem to
have wrong translations/rotations, a
good example is the me262 vertical stab and
rudder which are 180 degrees out (upside down). Ju88a4 has some of the guns in the
wrong orientations and positions.

Other aircraft seem to have no real problems.

I really want to fix this up and get DOFs
back into DOF record format so I can move
on and leave off the tools for a while
and start a new plane or terrain project
myself. (Theres not a real lot more I can do
till Andy Colbourne puts out a new AC3D
release)

I've always included the source in the .zip
files, so would anyone care to take a look
and see if they can spot the obvious flaw?

Does anyone still need the .ASC import/
export plugins? I'm thinking of removing them
next update, I think SMD/OLC is working OK
and the .OL format is easier to work with.
I'll probably remove the link to extractor
from my web page too.

Hippie.
