Had a close look at the Yamato, and just had to have a crack at one of these. Started on the Bismark today. Have a couple of questions on guns

1) Do the ships actually damage each other?

2) Did you work out the values for the various AA guns?

Any help would be appreciated. If I get this one sorted, I have plans for several other Japaneses carriers present at Pearl Harbour, also the Graf Spee, HMS Nelson and the various destroyers employed in Convoy escorts in the Med.

Just got here

OK, the guns damage everything the fire on, getting the AI to fire them at other ships and ground objects is a different matter though, for some reason I've not seen the Yamato fire on enemy ships/ground units yet, but fire the 18" guns yourself at the Exeter.. and "pooof"

I did work out the values for the guns that the Yamato etc use, but I can't swear that it's perfect, I'm pretty sure that SDOE works in Lbs, so that was easy for the bbig guns, in the gun datafor the ship I found the warhead size, and simply put that in, gunWarhead 768 for the 18" now though, for the smaller guns it wasn't that simple, is 3.4 ounces equal to an entry of .34? Im not sure, but thats the basis I used anyway.

any help I can give you let me know.. it's lots of fun listing all those damn guns and setting the dofs.. LOL
