Whenever I have 3 or more P47s in a game, and they're taken out by flak, the game will freeze. Only on those conditions. 2 is not a problem. 9 is not a problem if it's not flak that kills them.Piece of cake, eh? Any ideas for where I should start searching? _ /Bjorn. IP: Logged |

Bjorn, I had the program crash on me recently when I had only one P-47 in the game take flak. :-(I think all our problems started with the belly damage stuff ;-) IP: Logged |

Might have something do do with the pilot or flak - when the I16 is taken out by the flak I can't control the plane but AI still can. IP: Logged |

Björn - can you try to remove one of the pilot references in the plane ( like I described in the 'Crew positions' topic ). I´m really interested if this changes anything !IP: Logged |

Laika,Yes, I tried that. As far as I've been able to see, it doesn't change anything at all. _ /Bjorn. IP: Logged |

Why did they add that 2nd reference when it does absolutly nothing ?I´m no longer sure that my killable pilot works right. Strange things as allways... LK IP: Logged |

Well, I've narroed my freezes down to three objects having a phyLBS property. If I remove that property, SDOE doesn't freeze on me. That's a higher price than I'm prepared to pay, however, since removing their mass property also means making them insensitive to bullets, and darn it, they must be possible to shoot at. It is also only when they detach from their parent, due to their parent ceasing to exist that the game freezes, but as mentioned before, it need not do so, it just might. _ /Bjorn.IP: Logged |

Never mind, the problem was solved, purely by luck and none at all by skill. I added an "onDetach (obNoCollide)" and that did it.Well, as a special, only for you Laika, it's in your mailbox :-) _ /Bjorn. IP: Logged |
