This is about as basic as it gets BUT:I have Unbigged Data1.par into all the Compressed Tifs. I can use Untiff.exe successfully on each TIF at a time. But how can I batch process say a folder of TIFS rather that typing away in the DOS window for each of the hundreds of the TIFS?? Surely someone DOSsy or otherwise clever can tell me how to do this ... please! I am just starting to fiddle a bit for fun ... you never know what may come of it Regards, MW IP: Logged |

Mark, get Ifranview, you might be able to do a net search on the name, but I got mine from Winfiles.com, it will quickly and easily batch process all the tifs you want, very cool prog and a "must have"IP: Logged |

Try http://www.irfanview.com if you want the up-to-date version. The update-cycle of this program is rather fast.IP: Logged |

Thanks for the lead, Fellas. That Irfanview is a VERY powerful and useful little program. This is EXACTLY what one needs for poking around, batch conversion of file types, immediate presentation of Thumbnails, and I am sure for lots of other graphics jobs. S! MW IP: Logged |
