Guys,

I am having trouble getting AC3D to run properly. I am missing one grid. I may need to updade my driver for Open GL. My card is an STB TNT. Do you know what that latest driver would be? I realise that this is an older card. I am usually running my V2's in SLI. That is not exactly new either, but it should hold me off until next year when I go towards an entire system upgrade.

Spanky here...

Oh boy. Get ready for some fun.

When i upgraded my GL drivers to play SOF it messed up every other GL program on the computer

Sucked.

I'm not sure what you should do but it sure is annoying that its always Ac3d that gives these problems.

Actually one thing you can try is moving the GL drivers in your ac3d folder into a temp folder and try it then.

Long shot though.

those files would be(or are for me)
Glu32.dll
OpenGL32.dll
and for some people
3dfxOGL.dll

Give it a shot anyway and good luck.

AC3d needs and upgrade bad. Its SOOOO buggy.

Ernst,
I have the Velocity 4400 TNT card. I just updated to the latest NVidia drivers. It is a big improvement and fixed the problem with AC3D. Here is the link.

Thanks guys. This is the same card I have and the new drivers sure did the trick for me. Now it is time to buy the beta, a new scanner and get to work on my project.

Robert,

I am building a 1912 - 1913 Etrich Taube for the WW1 plane set. I picked a tough one for a first project, but then, a good way to learn. I think that learning my way in and out of OPS will be the key.
