Topic: Problem with the contest Fokker DVII

I downloaded the contest version of the DVII at The War Paint Factory and followed all instructions, but when I try to drop the bomb it just stays in "Dirk's" hand. Everything else works, but he just won't drop it. If any one can help me PLEASE do.Bomber Boy IP: Logged |

Hi Bomber Boy, just a few questions.Can you see the bomb in Dirks hand? What key do you use to "MasterWeaponsArm" -Arm Weapons - like rockets and bombs? Most people use the "A" key What key do you use for "WeaponsRelease"? to release rockets and bombs? Most people use the "Enter" key or JoyButton 3. We really want to get you going. It is way to fun to level those hangers. But it takes a direct hit. ------------------

Heya,I think I just got a mail from you concerning this. Perhaps you have not selected the bombs? Maybe? I will have to see if the option to select different ordinance is even possible. But It might be. Try this, before hitting the "A" key, hit the "5" key to be sure that bombs have been selected. Then hit "A" and enter to release. I'll look into this theory a little later. Hopefully this will as simple as that  ------------------

Bomber Boy, as usual Zoycite is right. I just tested this. If I press 4 for rockets, Press A then hit Enter, nothing happens.Press 5 to select bombs. A to arm and Enter should release the bomb. Thanks Zoy ------------------

Yep that's exactly what was wrong. How stupid of me. I had lost my key-card and was pressing the wrong button thinking I was selecting the bomb when I was really unselecting it. Thanks guys!Bomber Boy IP: Logged |
