I've noticed that after taking a little damage (to the Akagi itself), _all_ of the gun positions are taken out of commission. I checked their obHits and it's at 2000. I can't figure out why they all die after one strafing run on the Akagi. Is there a way to fix this? Would obNoDamageChain help? I thought that was just passing a fraction of the damage to the parent. Or might it have something to do with the obCrewRadius being 0? I'll experiment around with this some more and see if I come up with anything.-=TheReaper=- IP: Logged |

is there anything I can do to get AI controlled a/c to take off from an aircraft carrier? Or is that still one of the hidden mysteries? I've got them lined up on deck.. but they just start up and roll off the side. (is putting the 1st waypoint right on top of them a solution?)IP: Logged |

I tried this before and never work. I even made the planes start at different angles but they always go over the side.IP: Logged |

I guess then that the AI will only actually take off from an airfield.sm, which could possibly be added to the deck of the carrier, but I wouldn't be supprised if the AI only reacts to airfields that are attached to the map, and not objects placed on it... maybe MH can give a better answer when he gets back  ~Nat~ IP: Logged |
