Everytime I changed something in the pilot sm in OPS it gets corrupted somehow. Suddenly the plane starts shakin like mad. I tried to change the switchin settings and add some code to the "Ab" object for the damage model (wich is nearly done). I thought things that can take damage need an inertiaBox/whatever and so I tested some hours with removing and minimizing that stuff. Guess what. At the end I opened a fresh copied PilotSit.sm (tested before - no shaking) in OPS (tested it for all versions Iīve got) and saved it without changing anything. It should be the same !? It isnīt ! The file is now a bit bigger and the plane shakes wild. What to hell is this and what comes next ? IP: Logged |

Laika,The matrix you see added to the .asc file is harmless. A matrix is used to describe how a part is moved to its position. The first three lines describe a rotation around all three axis, and the 4th line a movement in space. The matrix you show above is usually referred to as the entity matrix, which does not rotate around any axis and moves the thing none at all. You can call it OPS induced noise in the .asc if you prefer, but it does not alter the behaviour of your plane in any way. _ /Bjorn. IP: Logged |

It does !!! (maybe not the matrix "addon") The parachute didnīt work anymore when I use a pilot .sm file that I opended and saved (without changing anything) before in OPS. I took a closer look to the .asc file and it seems it is compledly different as an "original" pilot.sm file. I still dont know what to do, so I could really need some help for this !(the only plan Iīve got is to search for a .asc doc and import the necessary changes to the original .sm file per hand . Supposed release of the next (and final) beta version was tomorrow, but if I cant fix this, it is possible that the release is in 3-4 weeks or maybe, sorry, never.) LK out IP: Logged |

You can compare the .asc file here:the changed: http://rcswww.urz.tu-dresden.de/~re723888/pille.txt the original: http://rcswww.urz.tu-dresden.de/~re723888/pilotsit.txt

And I still say IT DOES ! IT DOES ! YEAH !I changed only the switchins in the lod file per hand (cause the other stuff was to complicate) and redo the "pilotkill" thing. Now it works without fine (I definitly changed the pilot sm not in OPS, cause that alters the behaviour of the plane for sure ). Anyway it would be interesting to know whatsīs goin on with the pilot.sm and why it gets corrupted that way. LK IP: Logged |
