Sorry to bother you again with questions !!!

But I allways run into trouble with this and I´m afraid when the Main Panel is done (if ever) I´m ready for the madhouse. All I want to do are "Gear Indicator Lights", 2 nice textured Lods wich switch when the Gear is up or down. I know it has something to do with that qryPosition command.

Can someone please explain the usage of this ?

I didn´t checked Sv´s tutorials for this, I´ll do this now, and if there is anything on this (maybe the moving Stick is working the same way ?) please kick my skinny ass twice !!!

I checked Sv´s tut and it is good explained. But how can I make Lods hide/unhide with this ? Or Should I go another way ? Wäh !

You can hide/unhide models as part of the DOF osc command that is attacjed to the landing gear itself. This is how the gear doors are shown/hidden.

Thats how I made it, BUT one thing is odd:

I copied the Dof Proplist from the Gearhole to the Dof of my Gear ID object. All is fine and working but when I lower the gear the id lights switches AT ONCE to green. I tried several delay time settings but somehow it dont works like I want it = green light appears when the Gear is completly down and not when it starts moving. I dont know what to do now ?

I know what to do: Delete all the old DOF´s

Making a new one (translation) and using the qryPosition with the GearStrut. Now Green Lights move beyond the red ones and all is like I want it !!!
