Sebulba,When you are making your aircraft lines, set your line tool to 95% transparency. The lines will appear very light, but don't worry. Also, make sure you have anti- aliasing on, it makes a huge difference. Then, after you make your lines, take you airbrush tool (assuming your graphics program has one) and set the width to about 6 or 7 pixels. Set the transparency to 99 or 98% and make one pass over all the lines that you just made. Try not to linger too long in one spot. Then after that, set it to white and gently add a coat to the larger pieces in the center. This, combined with the light coat of black will give you a natural weathered look. IP: Logged |

Thanks alot, I needed to know hot to give it that weathered look. This program has a smooth tool I use. I only make the lines black so that I can go back and fill in the areas inside of the lines. My program has a lighten tool and a darken tool that I use. It makes it look nice, then I porbe the color and use that collor with my smart fill tool and re do the lines. I use Micrographix Photo Magic. GREAT PROGRAM! Here are some more pics of my progress: IP: Logged | |
