Bryan- First, I love OPS, and without it I doubt there would be very many interesting user created objects. But, I'm curious to know if you are still working on fixes/additions to OPS? I know there are a few things that are pretty annoying in v1.2 For instance, the dissappearing DOFs that I've heard about, and the dissappearing probabilities in obProb. Anyhow, if you are being slowed up by trying to get your hurricane out the door, I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that I'd love to help you out with your plane if you'll help us out with OPS :-)charm IP: Logged |

Still at it. In fact I hope to release a new version shortly which fixes some minor things. The dissapearing obProto is something I hope to fix. I can't say I have even seen the dissapearing DOF thing let alone fix it.IP: Logged |

I will add much DM stuff to my planes as soon as you implement the obProb bug fix Bryan... no preassure though What would help me the most would be a better way to navigate the camera angle when in-close. Maybe a "cockpit" mode or something. It is very hard to rotate now when you are zoomed right up close, there is not fine enough control. Also a quick-view that would put the camera at eye level looking forward. Is it possible/easy to implement a wide-angle view mode? Also would it be doable to make the "view distance" a real time sliding control? That would help a ton with creating smooth LOD switch outs. Long live OPS ------------------ -Sv =FC= WWI in SDOE!

Cockpit view? Right now I use the (k)eel view and zoom to the cockpit, then use the arrow keys to possition to the pilot view. A wee bit of about 1 minute of effort. A hard thing is trying to figure out the 300m zero for 11 guns . I'd be happy with an OPS texturing feature as AC3D just can't do what I want - too much cutting, merging, swearing, ect. IP: Logged |

Actually its 'bac(k)' but '(k)eel' sounds better The close in camera stuff is a bit dicky, I tried to get too smart by scaling the camera control to the distance, and screwed it competely. The arrow keys are a bit better. You can quickly get to look at the cockpit by using the convergence function and the 'View from gunners perspective button' probably not ideal but it works.
