I realized that I can change the Gear Sound for the rata (And as you should know there you had to crank the gear up with a handle).

So I took an old crank-drill (?) and made some noise:
http://rcswww.urz.tu-dresden.de/~re723888/GearMove.wav

I cranked like mad and recorded 44 turns, now I have a nice GearMove sound, BUT I didnīt get it synchronized to the movement of the gear (I set the runtime of the DOFīs to the lenght of the wav file). When I lower the Gear and after 5 seconds I decide to raise it up again there is still the sound playing. Can I stop this sound somehow ?

Spanky here..

I don't know man. That kinda sucks.

I would say get the gear moveing how you would like and then cut the length of the wav to that time. that should work right? How would you stop the gear from going down again? Wouldn't there be a locking and unlocking sound at the beginning and end of the wav?

Great sound BTW maybe you should be huffing and puffing in the background?

Ive been thinking about this for the F4F too.
It would be nice to set it up such that the gear key is set up on the bounce of a keypress (only moves as long as the key is pressed).
