Has anybody gotten obProb to work? I tried it once and it didn't work, but maybe I did it incorrectly. If you have gotten this working, can you post a sample of how the text looks?

thanks,

charmstar, this has worked for me.

(obFunc (EngineHit (obProb ( 25 (obKillDelay 5 ) 25 (obKillDelay 30 ) 25 (obKillDelay 300 ) 25 (obKillDelay 999 )))))

This would give a 25% prob to each of the following
Kill Delay in 5 seconds
Kill Delay in 30 seconds
Kill Delay in 300 seconds
Kill Delay in 999 seconds

There is one major glitch. You everytime you go into OPS you have to reset the percentages. You can put them in, and see them. Save and get out of OPS and it will work. But if you go back into OPS the percentage values will be gone. Just remember to put them in again each time you are in OPS.

Hope this helps.

I dont know if this helps you - but OPS also didnīt keep some other values when I input them into the properties panel, but when you edit the values directly in the properties text (also in OPS) all works fine (i.e. phyRelDensity))

Which rev of OPS are you all using? I use OPS 1.0, even though it occasionally eats DOF's.

I'm using OPS 1.2. I have also been having problems with values not saving correctly. I had just assumed that I had the syntax wrong, but maybe it is a problem with OPS? I suppose I could just do the editing to the .asc file, using extractor/builder, but I'd much rather continue using OPS if possible, since its so much nicer and convenient.

I think this is happening too.

I agree with Raider for now, just remember to put it back in each time - it beats the alternative.

We just need to identify this as a posisble bug to Bryan...
