Tried it out, and it looks great Peter. Nice job. Love the radar array. Did you say that can be added to other planes as well? I have one request for the Ju-88, outside of the excellent work you've done. The Ju-88 is a nice looking plane. Have you noticed that the engine cowls are not very nice looking. I mean they look like something out of a nuclear power plant. Is there any way that you or anyone else could make nicer looking engine cowls for it?

I have checked the shape of the cowlings, and it seems to be correct for the Jumo-engine the Ju88A4 and the C-models had. They kind of looked like the fan-towers of a nuklar powerplant. Did you mean the general shape isn't ok, or did you mean it lacks detail? Correcting the latter will let the polygon-count skyrocket. I'd rather leave the engines like they are.IP: Logged |

Hi Peter.I see what you mean. I have scale drawings that show some of the Ju-88 A models have that little flair where the cowl is. It just looks like there's more flair than there needs to be in the sim plane.
The Ju-88C6 drawing I have shows the cowl as being pretty much straight even with the engine nacelle. Nicer looking, to me anyway, compared to the A model. No big deal though. I'll use them the way they are. That radar array would look nice on a Me-262 nightfighter wouldn't it? Thanks again. dauntless851

Spanky here.. I think the Ju88 deserves at least some Muffler blocks instead of those painted on mufflers. that would add some detail without wasting anymore then say 40-80 polys.

Downloaded and tried it last night.It looks fantastic, but it froze up on me half way through the mission with the Lanc's.

Might be the lanc.. the 5.3 version causes crashes in some cases. I've posted the 5.2 version of the lanc on my site under SDOE downloads. TS ------------------
