 Getting there with the medals thanks to Zoy - you did a great job on the background mate - many thanks. Question to those in the know - Can you Change the colour of the text that appears on the medal ? It is not part of the pic itself. I looked but could not figure it out. If the text colour cannot be changed, how do you get rid of it ? Cheers, AGAS 5 ------------------

Ok I had a look again at getting rid of it and figured out the following.Both the 'gui.pff' and 'score.pff' files have the following line as an example: ( 'strAustralia
( "/Medal#01.bmp" msnScore 200 msnName "Distinguished Flying Cross") Now if I amend this to read : ( 'strAustralia
( "/Medal#01.bmp" msnScore 200 msnName " ") This should get rid of it. But do I do it to just one (which one ?) or both files ? Initial Question still remains though - can I just change the text colour ? Cheers, AGAS 5

Ahh, I see you got the flag  Wasnt sure. Thats very interesting there. I didnt even think about the text. Perhaps this is why the flags that shipped with the game look so faded. Hmm, I'm not sure about changing the text color. I'd hate to have to fade the flag even more than it already is  AS a last resort, I could try to lighten up the blue some, but it might look a bit off from the color of the real flag. Just let me know Agas. ------------------

I think the pic is just too dark blue. The medals from the game have a sandy coloured layer all over the flag, with a higher opacity to the right than to the left. You might just want to try out make the whole pic lighter by putting a sandy coloured layer with a low opacity behind the medal.------------------

I agree with Zoy - I'd hate to fade the flag even more, for two reasons:a) I'm a dunce at doing that stuff and most people are very busy at the moment on other projects; and b) Have a close look. Fading more will blend out the mighty Southern Cross. I think I would be hung, drawn and quartered by the general Aussie community if we did this and deservidly so !! I vote to amend either the gui.pff or score.pff files (which one or both ??)to get rid of the text altogether. Not a big job and I think people can figure them out by refering to the pomy versions anyway. Werner, what do you think ? Cheers AGAS 5 Oh yeah, here's the completed product. I agree with you Agas, IMHO the sandy over coat looks kinda of crappy.To save the flag in all its glory, I'd say dump the text Nice job BTW Agas! ------------------
