I am fixing the Ju88A4 that came with the game, and it has been bothering me that the bombs come out wrong.
I read about a person who was starting on a He111, listen up, the bombs are supposed to come out tail first!!! This has been agrivating me for 2 weeks, so I took it in to my own hands and put six bomb pylons in the bombay and fixed it up and edited the Loadout.pff file to include the pylons and bombs, so I go and test it and 4 of the bombs wont seperate, It looks almost like the bombs are welded to gether with invisible welds. So I have a group of 4 bombs falling from the sky stuck in a cube!
Does any one have any suggestions?

How about rotating the bomb bay so it faces the other way around.

I was sure I had seen that, and mentioned it before we shipped. But nobody believed me. I spent a couple of hours looking the net and never did find a photo or diagram showing the bombs coming out tail first. Do you know of any?

I think I have a cut away view of a 188 with the bombs loaded inverted (tail first), but I'd have to look.

Here's is a pic of the bombbay in a He-111 with the bombs shown correctly from the June '98 issue of Flight Journal. Come to think of it- the article has some great cockpit views if anyone is ambitious

It does make sense to put the bombs in nose up if you are going to vertically mount them. Just think, your flying along and one of your bombs goes off due to the drop mechanism vibrating lose. Or you drop and forget to open the bay doors.

you haveto upload it to the net first....... tell you what. Send me the picture, and I'll upload it for you.
send it to
jaguar@fshangar.com

Is anyone working on the He-111? I got a super detailed model, quite a few interior pics, and a video to work off from. I would like to have a go at it..... well.... once I finish the Dauntelss that is

I can't usderstand why they would have the bombs verticle..... but I guess they wern't looking for accuracy.

Cheers!

Also, Who ever is working on the He111, dont forget the tail guns, there are two guns in the tail, they are controled by the pilot, thats right the pilot, look at the picture above, the switch on the yoke is the trigger.

Sebulba,

Ahh, I can see you've been to the Confederate Air Force Museum in Phoenix,AZ.

100 yards away is the Worlds finest fighter museum.... Champlins Figher Museum.

I've got loads of photo's of WWI,WWII, and Korean Era pictures for anyone needing them taken from these museums.

Actualy Rattler, that was when the Confederate Air Force Arizona Wing visited Texas, along with the He-111, was the Sentamental Journey. It was COOL!!!!
