Hi everybody!

My Ju 88C (that is, Lector's 88G7b with some modifications) is nearing completion. I made a new nose, got it smoothed and textured, and while in OPS everything looks fine:

When I take it for a spin in SDOE the nose looks like an easter-egg:

Does anybody have an idea what this is?

Thanks,

Peter

You might have some wrong 'windings' or face assembly on the nose, making the faces transparent in game. See if you can select the object by clicking in the areas in question. I have this problem with the Viper's wings (model creation problem - I need to break it into two parts). I have no real clue on how to fix it.

[it]Sigh![/it] I have done the breaking up of the nose-section into nose-cone, canopy, and the gun-station through editing the .lods by hand (trying to figure out which line of numbers might belong to which part), but that was a piece of cake compared to texturing. Well, here we go again...
Thanks Whirlwind, and good luck to your Viper-project.

Peter
