Hi!Does anyonelse feel frustrated when youīre flying in SDOE and want to see a nice fly-by from the tower and all you see is the roof of the tower? I do.
So, I was thinking, since there are so many people improving this game, maybe someone could just rip the roof of that tower so you get better visibility. That is possible, isnīt it? I understand if people feel they have other priorities, but it would be nice though, wouldnīt it? /Robert IP: Logged |

Robert,This is an old file from Pete Hawk.
I don't have any hoof above me in the control tower, this way I can see anything !!!! I think that the file is controltowers.zip I will send to you. Blow this hoof away!!! nuum

Robert, I did that about a year ago. I just emailed them to you. One thing though, if you are using the latest beta of SDOE you are kindof underground with those files, but if you are using 1.0 you are above your tower and can see everything.[This message has been edited by Pete Hawk (edited 02-14-2000).] IP: Logged |

Spanky here... I never tried the tower without the roof but did we need to take it right off? Couldn't we just make the polys one sided? then you can see out but from out side it looks normal?

Vau,It is going ... Spanky, I think that Pete just put the viewpoint above the control tower.
From outside it is normal.
It is alot of fun to watch a dogfight above the airfield from the control tower (or above it ) nuum
