Spanky here... Thats the shit. Can't wait for more. Didn't JT do a thing about making a fuse and wing with max? Anyone know where that is and can we move it onto a page dedicated to max and openplane?

Here's a link to the loft object/fit deformation fuselage building tutorial... http://www.fightersquadron.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000085.html Here's the wing building tutorial, which is a bit more vague... http://www.fightersquadron.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000169.html [This message has been edited by JT (edited 02-13-2000).] IP: Logged |

Spanky here... Cool JT Is there anyway you can repack them and maybe bryan can add them to his site? Maybe make a part of his site dedicated to Openplane with 3Ds MAX? Somthing like Sv's site would be great or maybe even get Sv to host it so all the good stuff is in one place?

I should have probably mentioned that the tutorial is based on OPS V1.2.1, which isn't released yet . It should be soon, but you can still do the MAX stuff at least.IP: Logged |

Spanky here... Bryan I can't wait for part 4 and what is different with 1.2.1? Where did you list of improvments you wanted to make goto? Can you start a Openplane with max section on your site?

Spanky,Well, that's up to Bryan, but it might be kind of confusing to mix a modeling tutorial with Bryan's tutorial, which is more about pre and post production issues. Also, my tutorials are much more thrown together and makeshift than Bryan's. I'd like to maybe clean them up a bit and add more detailed info. IP: Logged |

Spanky here... JT yeah i don't mean put them in with his. I just mean put them on his site and maybe start a section of his site didicated to: "MAX and openplane" I would love it if you cleaned them up a bit and maybe put in anything you have learned lately about the subject. I just want people that want to start doing openplane with max to have a spot to turn to as good as SV's site about Ac3d with openplane. IP: Logged |

Spanky: V1.2.1 has some more things to help the MAX->OPS import process, including the &,@ and ! prefix thing. JT: If you don't have any objection I'll take your stuff and put it up as a second tutorial with your name on it. Maybe a 'MAX Modelling tips' or something. if you clean then up later you can just sne dme the new stuff and I'll update it. IP: Logged |
