This little guy is a joy to fly. Beware Mr P-80 guy! Actually Pang your P-80 inspired me to get this thing up and running. It should make for some fun times ahead in Korea (if we get a terrain of that ever).

Spanky here..

Kick ass man. Did you make this or was it from that collection of planes you have?

Could turn that sucker in the german jet that the Soviets copied.

Right now it's one solid model from my super collection. It'll take lots of work, breaking it down into parts, getting all the flight controls in place, the cockpit, and of course my favorite part, texture mapping.

Can't wait to finish it though as it really does look kick ass flying!

Select faces and chip-off-region to break it into objects Pete.

It looks great! Looks like I'll have to move the F86 I started so long ago back up the queue..

Korea looks good .. both fast movers, and the last real gunfight war. I was sent some really fine FM specs on both the M1g & the Sabre that I'll share with you.

Thanks RT. Yeah, once your F-86 is done, and maybe an F-84 too someone?, this will be really cool.

Fast is good, too. Last night I was testing my FM and I was thinking "I'm about to stop in midair!" while on my approach doing 130! These things just look sooo cool 10-15 degrees nose up on landing, feels like a real flare!

Pete, how do you figure your horsepower and RPM in you engines on jets? I'm getting a weird oscillation in the roll axis with mine. I plugged the 262 engine into my model and upped the horsepower, but I'm not sure how accurate it is.

Spanky here...

For sure man we need some sort of chart to use and maybe a standard engine prop combo to use for all jet engines

Other wise there is no way we can be acurate

Pang,

Unfortunately there is no science involved. It's all hit and miss, how fast can I go with full throttle half throttle, etc. I wish there were a better more reliable way.
