Spanky here...

K 2 more.

1st. Question is. When ever i rotate something with part/rotate it rotates around a wacky center thats not even part or the part. Using the reset Xform button doesn't help. Even when i use the reload they don't act anybetter.

Am i using it wrong?

Also the align DOF X button is working but the pop up help tagged to it says "use reletive values in status bar"

What will the button "use reletive values in status bar" be for?

And one more hehe is there anyway to save how i like my screen set up? I have to push the tool bars up to the top everytime i open it to conserver realestate.

Couple ideas for ya Bryan. I love having lots of viewing space and find the side menus get in the way sometimes. But when they are small ya have to scroll to much.
Could you start to run tools down the right side or along the right hand bottom since them all lined up at the top is too wide for a 800x600 mode?

And could you make the 2 side windows auto hide like the start bar in win9x and litestep?

that way you could have them full open but still be able to work on the plane with lots of viewing space.

Right now it seems like the view resets when ever you size those to windows. i mean make the windows float over top like they do when they are detached from the side.

thanks alot for any tips boys

Spanky when you export your pieces you have to move the piece so it's over top of the origin (center point) before you export. Then they will rotate properly in OPS.

For convergence, click on the pilot, then click the convergence button on the toolbar.

I kinda thought it was somthing like that Tail but i didn't import the parts i was moving the gear door on the zero to another area to try somthing out and it was all wacked when i tried to rotate it. I guess thats cause it wasn't centered in ac3d?
