Ok, I extract the .sm file for the plane, and it works just fine, but when I use the builder I get this message:"[main] D:\FSDOE\EXTRACTORS\BUILDER.EXE 1000 (0) handle_exceptions: Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION [main] BUILDER 1000 (0) handle_exceptions: Dumping stack trace to BUILDER.EXE.core" Does anyone know what this message means and how do I fix it?? It woun't build the .sm file. Also got this message on another .sm file (different plane) when trying to build: "Invalid record or unexpected data Comment:64713:28]" What does this mean??? I looked at the .asc file that gave me the message (at the specified place :64713:28) but didn't see anything wrong, but I am not too sure what I am suppose to be looking for. Help, Please. What sort of editing did you do before using builder? I occasionally get similar messages, always as a result of having messed something up in AC3D.IP: Logged |

Michael, The only editing I did was in OPS, where I added the 2nd prop/engine setup.I only have the demo version of AC3D so I can't do any 3D modelling until I gather enough cash to register it. So, until then the only editing I can do is in OPS. IP: Logged |

Ummmm,.... OK now I feel stupid, I just realized that I don't need to use the extractor/builder tools if I use OPS. LOLOLOL, this whole time I have been using the extractor/builder tools to edit the references, THEN, used OPS to edit the plane/model/whatever. DOH!!! LOLOLOL (Excuse me for being a DUMBASS!!!!)
