Thanks to Bryan's OPS special version that let's us see collion points, I figured out my problem. This info pertains to anyone who used my tutorial for learning to place collision points: it's wrong! Heheh...

The problem with using the DOF technique as printed is this: DOFs use the PARAENT OBJECT'S coordinate system, not the object you are trying to add points to! Collision points use the object's own coordinate system where 0,0,0 is the origin of the object. Here is a work-around:

1. Create a new child object for the object you want to create a collision point on. Or, you may use any existing child object

2. Add a DOF to this child object

3. Move the DOF to the desired collision point location.

Use that's DOF's origin X,Y,Z for the new collision point in the original object you meant to add a collion point to.

Now my SE5a can stand up like a real plane
