This was mentioned before on the board here, but I'm not sure that the *.inta part was. Works great and it's free.IP: Logged |

The gimp is a cool free program. Though it cannot open .bmp files. At least with the version I have. When selecting a .bmp file, the progress menu appear and it keeps displaying it, with any progress.Could anyone check this? ------------------ P/O STef, EAF STef_EAF329 stephan.bondier.free.fr/gazette.html ICQ 52072208 IP: Logged |

Hi all! Some time ago someone wrote the .inta files were the same like .rgb files. If you select an inta-file in the file-open dialog it will open the image. I guess you can save inta-files by setting the file-type to .rgb and saving your file as mypic.inta. About the .bmp-files: The bitmaps put out by SDOE as screenshots seem to be somewhat more complicated than your average windows-bitmaps, and the Gimp can't load them. I use a free image-viewer to convert them first. It's called IrfanView, and it can also read the zip-compressed .tiffs that SDOE uses for some textures.
