You can also enter project1.jpg up to project4.jpg for more pics. Later this week I'll put up a little html page to make it simpler. I don't really like Webjump but it'll do for now.

Pick 1, 3 and 4 are of an early obj model I did. It was VERY high on the polygons. Having 4 of these planes on the screen in SDOE brought the game to it's knees. Pic 2 is of the newer LOW poly plane I've spent all day Wednesday working on. Problem is is that the nose is starting to look like a different plane now. I really wish my better version would play well in the game. I'll keep tweaking the low poly one until I'm satisfied that it looks like it should.

I'm doing this type of plane because I wanted to see how it would be in SDOE's engine. So far I really like it! The AI can even fly it too!

Enjoy the pics. This project will take quite some time if I'm to do it as well as I'd like to. So far I have about 2 weeks invested in it.

Oh yeah, it's not a C-5, but an F-15 (C model, no missles/radar, just guns and rockets/bombs. It's really fun to fly and dogfight with/against.

I'll get to the C-5 soon though.

Just so you know the high poly models framerate really sucked. That plane had something like 1700 polys! The new one is far far less and usually when flying it my fps are in the 60s/70s now.
