Yep definatly OBJ, I cut and pasted it into notepad and saved as OBJ and used crossroads. 3DS then it went into max fine.

looks a little weird on the front though

Needs to be lower poly though

Yep, they were used as sub bombers and troop transport for a short while....... I think one even sank a ship or a sub. The first woman to ever fly a chopper was a German in WWII...... forget her name though.
