I am in no way a 3D modeller, but I downloaded that demo of Rhino3D and find incredibly simple to use, and I also have the eval verison of AC3D, however with Christmas around the corner I don't have the $40.00 to register it and I deperately what to start building/modifying planes models/lods.Is there a LOD plugin for AC3D? If so, where is it? Once I register AC3D, I will use that program.
Until then, I will stick with Rhino3D BUT,...
I need to know if there are any converters that you guys know of so I can edit the LODS/Models in Rhino3D????

Now I have the FSD2DXF converter,
and the FSD2LOD converter along with the others.
And it will export as .obj files so that would be great, but I need to find a converter to get the files into a format that I can Import.
OPS imports .obj files but I never see any in a .sm file of anything.
Like I said, this will become much easier once I can Register AC3D, but right now taht isn't an option.
Any ideas, suggestions???
