Heya all, a DVII update as promised.

Ernst Udets LO! Jasta-11 1918.

Nuum I hope you like it.

Whats new:
New fuse.
New wing cutouts.
Fixed DOF on rudder.
Added struts.
I finally figured out how to map multiple areas on a LOD so the plane has been remapped.
And found out I still have alot to do

Whats next:
After taking these shots I found I have a hole in the fuse near the tail I have to fix that.
Finish cockpit.
Do damaged model.
More switch_in work.
Need to model piston thingies on top of fuse, radiator cap and exhaust.
And a bunch of other odds and ends.

Raider has joined the project to work on FM and DM. Thats going to be a big help. Thanks John After I get a bit more of the model issues addressed I will release a "alpha" version.

Still much to be done.

Looks like you're making a lot quicker progress than I am on the Camel.

Here's a link to a good three way profile I came across:

Thanks Michael,

That link was a good read. I found out that the Lozenge I used is incorrect. This Lozenge was used on the underside of the wings and the darker version on the top. Who to know from B/W photos

Dont let the pics fool ya, there is still much work to be done.

Wow Zoycite, Great work! These textures are amazing!

Looks like your DVII will beat my SE5a to Alpha I am trying to finish as fast as possible so I can start a new fresh plane...

I updated my OpenPlane WWI site with these new images.

By the way, can I post your email address on that page? How about you Nuum, and Michael? That way people can contact you from that page if they want.

The FM for the DVII should be interesting, please send me updates when you get there so that I can build the SE5a FM to match as historicaly as I can...

I want to fly that! It looks too cool!
