OpenPlane Studio V1.0.0 is availiable at

http://opstudio.webjump.com

and also mirrored at

http://people.smartchat.net.au/~bryan_rus/OPS

Since webjump is a little iffy for some people.

This version fixes all of the known problems with SM File formating, and is the current "stable" release version. Please check it out and let me know of any problems so I can get this stable stream concept happening.

Sheesh I find doing a help file more of a task than the programme itself. What do you use for help file creation Bryan?
I have helpmatic pro but it's still a bit vague in some areas.
cheers

I haven't actually put the help file up yet... I'll do that tonight. It hasn't actually changed from 00.07.08 so you can just use that one if you want.

Spyder,

I'm using HTMLHelp becuase its easier to make a web site and suck it into the HTMLHelp thingy rather than deal with all of that nifty formating to get the standard thing to work. You can get HTMLHelp from microsoft somewhere, the only major hassle is that you will need to teak MFC a bit for it to use HTMLHelp rather than winhelp.

Thanks again for writing this program and the constant improvements and additions. There really wouldn't be any OpenPlane without it (or Hippie's tools for that matter).

I tried to download the help file from both sites and no luck. But I did get the OPS without any problems.

Byran,

Is there ever going to be a way to view shadows or other non-visable objects. Like Bent prop or damaged parts?

Just wondering.

Or the CG box for the engine?

Thanks for the new version Bryan! You'll be happy to hear I haven't been able to break it yet but I'll keep trying : )

Razer : If you uncheck the "Use Base Model" Option it will display hidden models and models that aren't children of the "Aircraft" (this includes the engine and its CG Tail) Unfortunitly I don't think this will work correctly for accurate positioning of the shadows as these values for this are in the proplists.

Acehalcrow : The hurricane gets time when I tire of OPS. The terrain gets some time when I tire from the hurricane .. etc etc. It's just a big circle really. The cockpit is probably the only major thing to do looks wise and then onto the FM. I don't know when it will be finished.
