a while ago i thought i heard somthing about a max fire rate being 1200 rpm

is that true ?

if not what is the max rate of fire currently supported?

one more
is the explosive round used currently in the cannon fire??

I believe it was the velocity that was 1200 fps. It may be the max fire rate.

This is something on the list to be fixed in the next beta patch. Which ever one it is, is a max of 1200 because of something to do with the game speed.

so that means if i want a gun with a speed of 2000

i could make 2 guns with rates of 1000? and they would equal 2000 rpm?

or am i just to tired?

Gun Rates of Fire are quantized to the following:

1 rpm
60 rpm
300rpm
400rpm
600rpm
1200rpm

So yes, 1200rpm is the max rate of fire for gun.

the same rates of fire apply to gun chains so synching two machine guns would yield a maximum of 600 rpm per gun.

I though MH said at some point this was fixed in a yet-to-be-released beta

K thanks guys

kinda sucks but thats still alot of bullets flying

is this a limitation of our technolagy? and openplane?

or just a temporary thing until MH gets the time to look at it?

It's a bug in the current version. I've got it mostly fixed in my code and it will be in the next beta.
