Sp@nky Pilot	posted 12-03- 09:11 PM Hi guys i'm having probs i used Chameleon and now some of my planes are messed they have no texture or its a corrupted texture and the explosions and gunfire textures are messed too i removed all skins and texture folders and deleted my cache to let the game rebuild it and its still messed any ideas before i nuke the whole thing and do reinstall? Spyder Pilot	posted 12-03- 09:48 PM Spanky, the only tifs that will cause problems are the multiple B17 ones. The util only copies the main Gb17g2.tif as default. If you have already got the other tifs like engine2,tif etc in your aircraft\b17g\textures\ folder then the main body tif will be different in colour to those parts. It won't affect the gunfire ones, I can't see what happened there as they are not changed by my util. There are a few B17 tifs out there that only use the one tif, no probs with these until I release the multi texture version, you just need to delete the multi tifs from that aircraft\b17g\textures\ folder for now. cheers ------------------ IP: Logged

Spyder Pilot	posted 12-04- 02:58 AM Did you install Chameleon to your FS directory only? It doesn't go into media or any other directory than that one. Again, I can't see how the util did anything, I haven't had a hitch and no problems reported to me so far. You should have got rid of the problem with deleting your texture cache but check your folders again for things that shouldn't be there. Also, what plane tifs have you copied over to the theatres chameleon makes, maybe we can narrow it down to a plane or something. ------------------ IP: Logged
