NICE!!!! I can't believe FS didn't have this in the first place!...... what's with the roof though? If you copied a piece of glass and used it as a solid lod for the roof, I think you could get a dual sided lod for texturing.

Forgot to mention Jag.. it's also the first building with a (primitive) damage model. The one shot is after I had destroyed the roof of the building.

I was able to actually get the roof to fall in but I as soon as I did that it wouldn't let you start missions with the planes under the roof. I think SDOE is doing some kind of bad collision checking when the mission starts up. Anyways thats why I have it so the roof just disappears rather than falling in.

I like Tail!

About the roof caving in though...How were you having it cave in? If you made the roof a child, then all you'd have to do is obdetach it right? But how come it no work?

yall take'd easy now

When you detach a child object it disappears unless it has inertia properties. When I added inertia properties, it fell when detached but it caused another problem.

As far as I can tell, SDOE checks when the plane enters the game and if it is below something that has inertia properties it moves the plane up into the air and you enter the game in flight. Not good for in-hangar starts ! Too bad I was hoping to hack up the roof into a bunch of panel objects so you could strafe it and have roof panels fall down.
