Does anyone have scale drawings that can be used for background of the Bell P-39? (Top, side, plan.)
I'd like to make a 3d model of this AC but can't find any good ones on the net. I don't have scanner access either so paper ones won't do me much good.
Please no comments about the viability of this plane in Fighter Squadron, I just want to try and make this model for my own good.IP: Logged |

Because the first thing you'll feel is that Big Honking Oldsmobile 37mm Cannon SLUG snaking its way up your six...:-)
Don't wanna cause any undue alarm to those in respectful fear of this plane and those who could muster a comment such as
"DO we REALLY need a P-39 in this game?"

true i for one think its just as valid as any other plane about this whole why should we make PAC planes when SDOP is comeing out i say SDOP is a long way away and i want to fly some PAC mission this year or next IP: Logged |

If your P39 is so far away from FS what about Sv's SE5a and my Dh2 with just a Lewis gun ?Sp@nky,
I am searching for a way to edit the 5 channels tiff files in PSP.I found how to see the fifth channel but I don't know how to change it, yet. I am trying ... nuum

if your worried about that not fitting the SDOE mold i want to put a gun similar to the gun on the A10 on a lanc just for the fun of it who knows where i can find the specs on that sucker? like rate of fire
rounds carried
how heavy the rounds are
how fast they go

Kraft - I suggest you building what *you* want to build  Much more enjoyment that way, and it's not like people wouldn't fly it... Hell... i put an F-117 into the game as a gag one night and some folks wanted it :P That's always been my mindset - I dont make addons for Fighter Squadron: Screaming Demons over Europe - I make addons for Openplane. If its what you want by all means make a 39!
It takes too many hours to make a low-poly mesh that still looks decent to be building something for someone else who can't - and that's even before making it fly somewhere close to reality, take damage, run under AI, etc, etc.. IP: Logged |
