Well it's been a whole week since I last worked on this thanks to the tragic world events. However, I have finally put up my humble 1024x1024 blank paint scheme page called "The Template Project" at: http://home.talkcity.com/PicnicPl/threedp/template/index.html The site explains itself pretty clearly. Community participation will make or break this idea. ------------------ Be seeing you, 3dp Visit RAF Harkness! IP: Logged |

G'day 3dp How's ya template project going ? I for one have found it difficult coping with the extra detail required at 1024......so any help is very much appreciated. A Question (maybe silly)....can these be used as a 'layer' in a paint prog? BTW, although your vid card cannot support 512 or 1024 is SDOE, you can view these sizes in OPS ? its pretty accurate, bar testing by someone with the approp vid card.... Cheers,

The Template Project is going nowhere fast! To date, there have been precisely 0 submissions to it! I have actually graduated up to a decent card and can now handle 1024x1024. I am about to take a crack at a high-res Lanc/Manc, but I asked about it first on the SimHQ BB so I won't be dulpicating effort.I used to use my b/w template layer at a lower level, the patterns and markings going on top in PhotoShop. However, I have recently discovered that using them as "screen" layers (I think) on top of everything else actually works much better. It aleviates the need to modify the transparency of the other layers to get the detail to show through. IP: Logged |
