i was just watching o'reilly factor and we was talikg about how the money raised SPECIFICALLY for the families of the victoms was being used for red cross's infestructure (spelling bad its late and im tired)! they are literally using money raised to help the families to pay their fucking phone bills and to enlarge their blood supplies! those 2 alone account for over $30 million dollars of the money raised! they are also using the money to set up facilities that teach "humane and peaceful behavior"..BULLSHIT! $16 million dollars one that ONE thing! there are other charities for that! We gave our money thinking it would go to help the ppl they said it would and they LIED! i will NEVER donate to red cross again! IP: Logged |

methinks that red cross need to pay phone bills or get shut down, need to have blood supplys to donate them, and that you could do with learning some "humane and peaceful behavior". don't beleive everything you see on TV. IP: Logged |

vmartini, it was over this issue that the American Red Cross president was fired this week. I don't know where she stood on the issue, for or against, but she was fired. The story is true. If the American Red Cross has to take money, intended for victims, to pay it's phone bills then they should go out of business. IP: Logged |

The Canadian red cross is also collecting money in Canada for the victims. I'm wondering how much of that money is actually making it to any victims also? red cross is a global thing right? Like the Canadian and American red cross are just chapters of the international red cross? So if I gave money to the Canadian red cross victims donation funding dealy would it go to the victims, or into red cross Canada coffers or would it go in to the American red cross coffers to pay the bills? I wouldn't want my money going into either the Canadian or American coffers but rather into the victims. But if it was going into the red cross pockets I would rather it went to the Canadian ones. Crazy stuff. Obviously not all of the money donated was going to make it directly to those indended when a donation is made but I don't think people expected it to go to OTHER programs that the red cross runs. Its all pretty stupid of them to do that. Oh yeah. K they fired the president. What about the rest of the people in charge of everything? Arn't they guilty too if the president was?
