lol....one airline can wreck the economy? yes, we must make sure that no one's fourth of july plans are upset because of a labor dispute. afterall, one day of vacaction is so much more important than an person's salary and benefits.

I agree. Let them strike.

Look how successful strikes were in the US steel and automobile industries. Why should American industries always be dominant? Bring them down a peg or two with strikes so the rest of world can have it's share. Where would Nippon steel or Honda be today if it weren't for American labor unions? I say we should organize the American computer industry and go on strike. Let the Europeans and Japanese have a bigger share of the pie. It's only fair.

hehe, here's a snippet from a story that's been in the news recently, it would seem to be right up your alley

"Nova Scotia Premier John Hamm says Bill 68 is only a temporary measure. Hamm says the Tory government will introduce legislation within the year to replace Bill 68, which calls for the removal of the right to strike for nurses and Halifax hospital workers. Hamm says the new legislation will take away the right to strike for all health care workers in the province. The bill may also extend to workers in sectors other than health care."

Looks like Hamm and GWB are on the same page.
