So, I guess Conservative darling Louis Freeh should win the Hypocrite Of The Year Award. During the days of the Filegate scandal, Louis Freeh publicly criticized the Clintons for requesting and then losing FBI files pertaining to travel office expenses. Here is a quote... FBI Director Freeh said, "The prior system of providing files to the White House relied on good faith and honor. Unfortunately, the FBI and I were victimized. I promise the American people it will not happen again on my watch." "Victimized"... HA!!! Now we find out that Freeh himself has been very busy "misplacing" thousands of files pertaining to the Timothy McVeigh case... a case that is considered the most important in FBI history. Uhhh... JT... I will admit that there is a parallel here but I still found it very unnerving that the Whitehouse would be requesting thousand of FBI files on individuals and then 'losing' them. I also find it disturbing that those McVeigh files went AWOL... but at least that was an action entirely within the FBI and not perpetrated by staffers of the Chief Executive (President) who have no legal business requesting FBI files in the first place. JT, How long has Freeh been in place as Director? Don't forget the trial happened a couple of years ago..... They just "found" the files.... It was probably done that way to try and derail Timmay!'s martyrdom. Stupid and inexuseable, but not altogether a bad plan...... take the focus off timmay!'s rambling and make themselves out to be the bad guy, but not too bad..... takes the wind out of timmay!'s sails... and lessens the impact of his attempt to be a martyr. Draw attention away, allowing for the situation to be confusing, then get rid of the trash... works for me.... and derailed the psycho's that timmay! hung out with. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Well, if they hadn't done it before, I wouldn't mention it, but the FBI is so screwed up from Janet (SS) Reno, nothing would surprise me. It is a good way to defuse what McVeigh was saying though..... basically confuse the issue at the last minute with meaningless documents, not letting TM's message sit with the people before changing the focus. You should know about that, the union has been doing it to you for years..... Heh. ------------------ IP: Logged |
