I DIDN'T SEE IT, AND OBVIOUSLY YOU DIDN'T EITHER, SO APPARENTLY YOUR AS BIG A DUMBASS AS YOU CLAIM I AM!!!!!!! ITS A SIMPLE MISTAKE THAT ANYONE COULD HAVE MADE!! DOES IT SAY ANYWHERE IN THAT ZIP AND ITS PATHS, THAT ALL THOSE FOLDERS WOULD HAVE BEEN CREATED?? DOES IT?!?!?!?! The Sherman and Tiger skrewed my SDOE up, do I go around saying ARCHY is an asshole?? Bulldog1 Pilot	posted 08-17- 09:28 AM Errr sorry Jerry but I also DL the V1 yesterday and I just took a look at the zip and well it installs fine and I have no other files loaded that were not meant to be. Sorry mate but you may want to look in another direction for your CTD problem. Please don't post the word Virus as you scared the shit out of me this morning and I have not even had my 5th cup of coffee yet. IP: Logged
Jerry Pilot	posted 08-17- 10:41 AM Jeeves pointed me in the direction of Aladar's V-1 zip. When Jeeves unzipped it he found all the weird folders that I did. If it were just a matter of unwanted folders it would be no big deal. I could delete them. But Aladar's zip also wiped out 99% of my training missions, plus I can't even get into the Training Mission screen to see what does work. This is why I called it virus-like. It deleted files, added folders and stopped part of a program from working - sounds like what a virus does, doesn't it. IP: Logged

(take an evening course at your local scool for winzip...hehehe) here's what I've found out: ----------------------------------------- FOR THE AIRCRAFT-FOLDER IT'S THE BF110 !!!!!!! 1. check your media\aircraft folder (there are a lot of empty folders in there!) 2. check your mission\dover folder (there's also a empty folder inside) 3. the training folder should be ok 4. check your 'programms' folder (now there're two new ones ..'sounds' and 'textures') ----------------------------------------- FOR THE TRAINING-FOLDER IT'S THE V-1 BuzzBomb thanks to aladar ... otherwise I would have spent my stupid time with motorcycling, or playing football/soccer...instead I've checked all my folders in SDOE...GREAT!!!! ...and NO I don't think that I've to make the unzip in a separate folder first! (I know that the planes are alpha/beta stage, but at least the zip-file should be ok) stop looking for dinosaurs videos and learn how to work with your pc!! gt (AKA 'the angry unzipper') IP: Logged
