Alright they sound silly for you? Eh? I've recorded them and sent them to WM ...they came back with the wish to bring a little bit more of 'action' in my voice. That's what I did. And now YOU think they sound silly..ok
I've spent many hours in front of my mic (pc) to record them...so a bit of 'action' in my voice could be hearable....and now they sound silly.
Funy how alway's a 'nice' guy pops up and starts telling how better this-and-that could be done ....but when it comes to work ahhhh that's when he disapears

Probably my Defiant will be the last thing I'll do for the SDOE comunity, in the future I'll be just a playa and enyoing what other people do....and from time to time pop up and say 'hey this-and-that' could be done better and I know how!'....and short afterwards disapearing

The scope of this comunity is to make this game better (to create add-ons, etc. etc.). Mhhhm of course even add-ons could be done better....but what about contacting the 'creator' of this add-on and asking 'hey man what about creating a new version, I would even like to help you?'
Instead we find people who pop-up and say 'hey this stuff sounds silly, I'll do a better version' and disapearing. Ever heard about decency?

1. If you have a beef with someone, FW is fine, but an email is a lot more effective at sorting something out. That, I would have appreciated gt.

2. Default stuff is default stuff, it won't be replaced. I think I addressed this in a subsequent post in SDOE General, at the time completely unaware of this brou-ha-ha. Again, if you were annoyed because you thought I was going to replace lil'bastards' work with yours, one email would have solved that in a hurry.

Gt, what you do in your spare time is your business, obviously, but using this misunderstanding as an excuse to throw in the towel is rather weak.

Alright I sad (wrote) if you want to make things better (DON'T MATTER WHAT!!):
1. Thats fine
2. If the author is still around try at least to contact him.
3. Offer a little bit of help...don't start your own work by criticising others work.

So it's not a 'fight' or whatever, of using that version or this version! I just picked this 'misunderstanding' (as you called it) to let some steam out about certain behaviours who happen here from time to time! Alright? So in my opinion FW is the right place to go for stuff like this
Otherwise I think we could close-down FW, what do you think?

1. Your work remains the default (did you read my entire post?)

2. Anything lil'b would end up doing wouldn't modify or change your wav files, he would be recording wavs himself.

3. A rhetorical question - do you contact the original builder of a plane any time you release a paintscheme that modifies the appearance of that plane? Didn't think so. What lil'b is proposing is, in essence, a "skin" for the Italian wavs.

I have no problem with you addressing a wider issue as you see it, but to have expected me to contact you about this is a bit absurd.
