Well, I just got done playing about with WWI online in SDOE...and all I can say is amazing! SDOE really is the perfect engine for this. The detail on the AC is beautiful, the flight dynamics unsurpassed and some of the things we don't like too much about SDOE online normally are much less evident. For example, due to the slower speeds the 1 second delay in plane positions is MUCH less evident - when someone is shooting at you it looks like they are shooting at you instead of where you just were! The close in swirling WWI dogfight is just amazing to behold, and it feels like you could just reach out and touch your opponents aircraft at times! We experienced no lag either - admittedly it was just a very small group but it was definantly the most lag free flight I've experienced - this may also be in part due to the lower speeds. Lower speeds = less movement between frames and so more tolerance for packet loss, hence less visible lag.

If you have not tried WWI in SDOE I highly recommend that you do so! You wont regret it!
