What programs are needed and where can i get them to produce planes and other bits 'n' pices in sdoe. I've sat back for long enough its time to give something back to this wonderful sim.

OK .... first up, get the following:

OpenPlane Studio .... this will allow you to assemble models and do all the code for FM, DM etc.

Then, get a modelling program.

AC3D is cheap and relatively easy to use ( tutorials are available to get you started ) Plugins are available to support all the filetypes you will need

or else look for one that will support .OBJ file formats for the model, and TIF files for textures. Anim8or works ... but I could never get to grips with it!!!
