Gentlemen...
My sim runs fine with D3D and high res. However, my machine locks up solid with glide selected as the driver, when I start the mission. I have searched this forum and I do have the latest voodoo drivers (EAW looks great as well as MA). My question to fellow V3/2000 users:

*Is there a successful setup trick?
*Is there a separate glide drvr?
*Am I stuck using D3D?

My system:
P2 450 w/MMX
Voodoo 3/2000 AGP
W98
320 RAM

Thanks in advance!

That's very close to my son's set-up. I think your Desktop should be set to 32bit.

Thank you Diego, I'll give that a try...I really do like my voodoo card. D3D will certainly be livable if it wont work though.

This is a very good sim and I think I'll use it and EAW...they both have very strong points in contrast to the others available. I seem to have worked "backwards" as far as sims are concerned. These older ones work well and have so much more character and comunity support than the newer ones do.

Thanks again.

Yep, I had the same card (it's sat on the shelf here now with a GF2mx400 lol), and the latest drivers suck big time, the best drivers were version 1.4, with the latest drivers you MUST set the desktop to 32bit

I reloaded my voodoo drivers from the CD. It works! I'll be using 800x600 since some guages seen to be missing a higher resolutions. Even at 600x400 it looks so much better than D3D! I guess only a voodoo user could appreciate the difference though.
To bad developers stopped supporting 3DFX. Thanks again for the input guys!
