Topic: Help with CTD for WWI A/C

I've recently gotten back into FS and went through the big upgrade first with alot of help from a buddy of mine: F S
1.5.2.10, OP-WWIPlanePack2, OP-WWIPP2 Patch, Nations 2.0, PlanePack6.0 &
6.1, Full_Somme, etc. The upgrade went well and it's been lots of fun fro the WWII stuff. However...When flying the OP DVII, I discovered that the machines guns were not on the a/c, although the muzzle smudges were on the yellow cowling. The rest of the a/c looks great and seems to operate well. I tried firing the guns without result. Needless to say, it wasn't much fun just buzzing around. Bummer. To make matters worse, I discovered and installed the Red Baron DR1 but it went CTD. I went to try the OP Green Dr1 but that went CTD. I tried renaming the Dr1Baron folder as the Dr1 file, but still CTD. While the WWII stuff runs fine, I would like to fly the WWI stuff. I've flown Wings of Glory and RB3D in the past and have come to appreciate FS as a fun WWI sim. Thanks in advance... Ray P.S. Ray, thats very wierd about the D.VII!  You may want to delete your cache files in the Fighter Squadron\Media folder and try again. Ive never ran across this one before... Are you sure you installed the OP-WWI Plane Pack 2 first and then the OP-WWI PP2 Patch?As for the Fokker Dr.1a Pack, I myself havent installed it yet so I dont know what to tell you on that one. Thanks for the quick response. After I posted, I went back and uninstalled OPWW1PP2 and the Patch. I then re-installed the plane pack and then the patch. I also removed the cache files from \Media. And lo and behold, the DVII still had no guns but the Red Baron Dr1 works fine now as do the other WWI A/C.This afternoon, I decided to download the OPWW1Planepack 2.2 again and re-install. I then loaded the patch. Again, the DVII had no guns. I then pasted another skin on the DVII and still no guns. Still no joy. Could there be something wrong with the file that indicates "install guns here?" Should the skin TIFs indicate the guns or is another file responsible for it? Just wondering. Any further ideas?
