Just reinstalled. Running Patch 10. Can only see UK1, US1 and US2. All have pings of 9999, Tried downloading the servers.dat file (link on another thread.) No joy. Help? (FWIW, 1.5 sees things just fine...)

Try copying your servers.dat from 1.5 into patch 10

Snick,
I think you can go ahead and create your own game on one of those servers that you do see-and then exit out and I think you will now see all the missing servers now.

Not 100% positive that this works but I believe I've read about this problem before in here somewhere--and that doing the above is the fix for it.

I tried copying the servers .dat file.. AQ you are right about creating a mission etc etc etc... EXCEPT the pings are 9999 (over ten seconds) and I can never get into a lobby....

There has got to be a better cure for this... How many people tried the sim only to leave (possibly permenantly) because there were (supposedly) no servers...

Sorry bout that Snick--I must've missed that 'small, insignificant' fact about the 9999's. Never have been a good listener I guess.

I have no earthly idea why you're seeing 9999's on the few servers that you see.
That's not good and you are exactly correct about this sim being ornery enough at times to make a newbie sigh and walk away when seeing things like that. Sigh.
